Cop's vision was blocked by a hill and he couldn't see that I was passing other cars. I saved $437 and kept a pretty serious infraction off of my record. Before that I was picked out of the middle of a group of cars traveling through a speed trap. Cop claimed I was going 21mph faster than the limit and everybody else. I got the cost of that ticket reduced a third by going to court. If you have a plausible explanation, schedule a hearing. Be well prepared, have the facts and bring evidence that will help your case (diagrams or pics e.g.). Be polite, calm, and well groomed, and skip emotional appeals. GO FOR IT!
